WSTED - PET is a product design exploration for WATERBOYS inspired by the increased presence of un-disposed pet waste in our local communities. This speculative project reimagines a community scale waste management service, WSTED that aims to reinforce positive and simplified waste behaviors using pet waste as our case study. We designed a modular pet waste collection system present throughout city neighborhoods that can be easily moved and transported for more efficient waste collection and management.
Products created for the WSTED - PET service ecosystem are made of recycled and up-cycled materials collected via the WSTED service including additive waste materials like used face masks.
